Rocheflamme cottages offer you a personalized welcome in the small rural village of Cauquenas located at 850m high on Le Causse de Sauveterre (limestone plateau), on the edge of Tarn Gorges. Cauquenas is a typical Causse village with its old baker’s oven, its “ferradou” (a loom to shoe big animals) and its characteristic stone houses with chalky lauze roofs. It is located on the road between Le Point Sublime and La Malène.
Erected at 5 minutes from the Tarn Gorges, on the Caussenard plateau. The Rocheflamme cottages are ideally located to offer you calm and magnificent landscapes, as well as fishing and water activities in the gorges.
Near the cottages, you’ll find many famous touristic places: Les Cévennes, Dargilan grottos, l’Aven Armand, Millau viaduct, Roquefort caves among others. Sports lovers will appreciate a large range of activities: canoeing, canyoning, free flight, speleology, climbing, tree climbing, via ferrata...
